Sepideh Moafi called online rumors of a behind-the-scenes feud with Noah Wyle on HBO Max’s “The Pitt” “completely false,” saying the two have “always had a great working relationship.”
Season 2 speculation had tied her character Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi’s arc to supposed off-screen tension, but Moafi said their rapport actually made it easier to film darker scenes together.
Season 3 is already being written and is slated to start filming later this summer, with Moafi confirming she will return even though her episode count and story scope remain unclear.
The denial comes as “The Pitt” builds awards momentum after winning 5 Emmys for Season 1, while Moafi says a supporting-actress nomination would carry broader visibility for Persian and Middle Eastern performers.
