June 25-July 10 dates anchor Freedom 250’s first detailed rollout for the Great American State Fair, a free National Mall event with concerts, speakers and attractions tied to the U.S. semiquincentennial.
June 26 will lean into '90s nostalgia with C+C Music Factory, Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli and Young MC, while Martina McBride opens June 25 and later nights feature The Commodores, Flo Rida and Bret Michaels.
A 110-foot Ferris wheel, the refurbished Smithsonian National Carousel, movie screenings, robotics and autonomous-vehicle demos, augmented-reality activations and state showcases are planned across the 16 days.
All 50 states are expected to participate, with military bands and ceremonial units from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard adding tributes alongside daily themes on history, technology and the country’s future.
Mainstage shows are scheduled for Thursday through Saturday nights, with more performers still to be announced as organizers push advance registration while keeping walk-up admission free.
