More than 275 homes and small businesses in Manatee County, Florida, can now buy Spectrum internet, mobile, TV and voice service, extending gigabit-capable access into previously unserved areas.
The launch is part of Spectrum’s $7 billion rural construction program, which aims to add more than 100,000 miles of fiber and reach over 1.7 million new locations nationwide.
Residential internet starts at 500 Mbps and reaches 1 Gbps, while business plans include 500 Mbps, 750 Mbps and 1 Gbps tiers; the company said its broader network upgrade will bring gigabit upload speeds across 41 states.
Spectrum is also bundling mobile and video offerings in the expansion, with unlimited mobile lines starting at $30 a month and TV packages offering more than 270 HD channels plus 85,000 on-demand titles.
