Holly Holm said she would “always” be open to fighting Ronda Rousey again, though she doubts Rousey will seek a rematch after her comeback victory over Gina Carano.
May 16 brought Rousey back to the Octagon for the first time in nearly 10 years, and she beat Carano by first-round submission before saying she planned to return to retirement.
Holm, who knocked out Rousey in the second round to win the UFC women’s bantamweight title in November 2015, said she has no issue if that second fight never happens.
Rousey went 12-0 to start her MMA career and entered the UFC Hall of Fame in 2018, while Holm is still active after a January boxing loss and owns a 15-7 MMA record.
