Next week, Joy Behar will step away from "The View" for two weeks after announcing on the show's podcast that she is flying to Paris first and then heading to London.
The break is tied to her stage work: Behar said she will spend one week playwriting in Paris before performing "My First Ex-Husband" in London's West End at the Boulevard Theater.
Jackie Hoffman and two British actors will join her in the London production, while executive producer Brian Teta said the show has already taped Behar's weekend appearances.
Sheryl Underwood will fill in for two days, Kara Swisher will also guest-host, and Whoopi Goldberg is expected on Fridays as ABC rotates substitutes during Behar's absence.
