Amazon US listings from Sapphire and briefly XFX mark the first U.S. appearance of AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 GRE, a model previously sold only in China.
The 12GB card appears to be nearing a wider launch as AMD moves beyond the regional lock; Amazon pricing was not shown, but the GPU is expected to sell for under $600.
Sapphire’s listed Pulse Gaming OC version shows a 2,920 MHz boost clock, 12GB memory on a 192-bit bus, 220W board power, dual 8-pin connectors, and 2 HDMI plus 2 DisplayPort outputs.
The RX 9070 GRE uses a cut-down Navi 48 chip with 3,072 stream processors and 432 GB/s memory bandwidth, below the 16GB RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT models.
AMD launched the card in China in May last year at 4,199 yuan, about $620, making the Amazon listings the clearest sign yet of a global rollout.
With AI driving a massive GPU shortage, can AMD’s new card offer gamers any real relief?
Is launching a 12GB graphics card now a strategic move or a product already obsolete on arrival?
