Russia Loses 1,000 Troops and 39 Artillery Systems in 24 Hours, Ukraine Says

1,000 Russian troops were killed or wounded over the past day, while 39 artillery systems were also lost, according to Ukraine's General Staff.
Ukraine's military said Russia additionally lost 3 armored combat vehicles, 1 tank, 1 multiple-launch rocket system, 10 ground robotic systems and 1,307 operational-tactical UAVs in the same period.
The updated Ukrainian estimate puts Russia's total losses since Feb. 24, 2022 at about 1,358,950 personnel and 42,790 artillery systems, with the figures still being confirmed.
The daily tally is part of Ukraine's running battlefield assessment of Russian attrition across manpower, armor, artillery, drones and logistics equipment.
