Two "Dracula" performances at London’s Noël Coward Theatre were canceled a day after Cynthia Erivo described herself as exhausted midway through the 16-week run.
Erivo carries the one-woman production through 23 characters and about 20,000 words over two hours, while the show runs six nights a week plus at least one matinee.
Her representative declined to say why the matinee and evening shows were called off; some fans online linked the cancellation to her London Marathon run the following day, which she finished in 3 hours 35 minutes.
In the same interview, Erivo said the "Wicked" franchise’s four-year push and online backlash left her still processing the experience, and she said it would take a lot to bring her back for a third film.
