Rosie O’Donnell posted before-and-after photos showing what she called subtle results from a lower deep plane facelift she underwent in January.
The 64-year-old said losing 50 pounds on Mounjaro left her with extra facial wrinkles and a “haunted” look, pushing her to reconsider cosmetic surgery after years of opposing facelifts on feminist grounds.
Clay, her 13-year-old child, initially urged her not to go through with it, but O’Donnell wrote that she ultimately decided her face should not belong to any ideology either.
O’Donnell, who lives in Ireland with Clay, said she chose a doctor whose patients still “looked like themselves” and that the procedure left her looking only slightly more rested.
Not one person in her life has noticed the surgery, she wrote, calling that “the best possible outcome” because she still looks like herself.
