Ukraine's Nemesis Brigade Hits Crimea Supply Route With Secret Drones, Destroying Dozens of Russian Trucks

Ukraine’s 412th Nemesis Brigade said its newly disclosed long-range “strike wings” are hitting Russian logistics on the R-280 highway linking Mariupol, Melitopol and Crimea.
Dozens of Russian military trucks and fuel tankers have already been destroyed, the brigade said, disrupting a corridor used to move fuel, ammunition and equipment across occupied southern Ukraine.
Russian military and occupation authorities have since restricted heavy-equipment traffic on the route, while Ukrainian operators say bypass attempts on field and dirt roads are also being detected and struck.
The R-280 has become one of Moscow’s main ground supply lines for forces in Zaporizhzhia and southern Donetsk, making it a prime target in Ukraine’s wider 2025-26 deep-strike drone campaign.

Ukrainian Drones Sever Russia’s “Land Bridge”: The Nemesis Brigade’s May 2026 Strikes on the R-280 Highway
Overview
In late May 2026, Ukraine’s 412th Nemesis Brigade intensified drone strikes on the R-280 highway, a vital Russian supply route in occupied southern Ukraine. These attacks are part of Ukraine’s broader middle strike campaign, targeting key Russian assets like air defense systems, command posts, and logistics vehicles. The goal is to weaken Russia’s ability to sustain its forces in the region. As a result, Russian forces suffered significant losses and were forced to restrict heavy equipment movement along the highway, while attempts to use alternative routes proved ineffective against Ukraine’s adaptive drone tactics.
