Alipay Unveils Full-Stack AI Payments After 300 Million Transactions

AI Wallet and Token Pay were rolled out to retailers and tech partners this week, extending Alipay’s AI Pay infrastructure from consumer checkout into broader agent-driven commerce.
300 million transactions have already run through that infrastructure, which Alipay said became the first native AI payment product to top 100 million users in February.
AI Wallet lets users supervise agent-made purchases before, during and after payment, while a new Agentic Commerce Trust Protocol and security system aim to safeguard automated transactions.
Token Pay gives model companies a single platform for global subscriptions and token top-ups; MiniMax and Stepfun said they will use it for memberships and marketing.
Backed by Ant Group’s network of more than 1 billion consumers and 80 million merchants, Alipay also launched developer incentives including token rewards and zero processing fees.
