Ingrid’s release marks the last Street Fighter 6 character to get new World Tour story content, with Capcom saying existing single-player content will remain playable.
That signals Season 4 fighters are unlikely to be added to World Tour at launch, ending a pattern in which each DLC character expanded the mode with quests, story scenes and Outfit 2 interactions.
Year 3 is now complete with Ingrid’s arrival, which also added Random Avatar Matches and Avatar Arcade alongside her roster debut across Switch 2, PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
Fan reaction was disappointed because World Tour had become a notable draw for single-player players, and attention is now shifting to what Capcom may offer instead when it outlines next-season plans.
