Car and Driver saw a Copperhead SRT model that it described as a long, low two-door with Charger-based hard points, combustion exhausts and a snake badge echoing the Viper.
Over 800 horsepower is expected from a likely Hellcat-derived V8, possibly with hybrid assist, positioning the car as Dodge's new SRT halo rather than a direct Viper revival.
The design reportedly adds slim LED lights, a hood S-duct, brake-cooling side vents and a massive rear wing, signaling a heavier focus on aero and track capability.
Chevrolet's Corvette ZR1 and Ford's Mustang GTD are the implied targets, though Dodge has not confirmed final specs and a debut is only anticipated around the 2029 model year.
Stellantis has already shown the mock-up to investors as part of a five-year plan, casting the Copperhead as a halo model meant to help revive Dodge's lineup by 2030.
