Microsoft Ships Windows 11 Preview Updates, Lifting 26H1 to Build 28000.2179

Windows 11 26H1 users can now install a Week D preview that raises the OS to build 28000.2179, ending the one-month lag that had left that branch behind recent releases.
Versions 24H2 and 25H2 receive the same optional update track, moving to builds 26100.8524 and 26200.8524 with a shared feature set across all three branches.
New additions include Bluetooth LE shared audio, multi-app camera support, and the option to choose a custom user-folder name during Windows Setup.
Microsoft also bundled improvements to Magnifier, Secure Boot in Windows Security, Task Manager, Windows Hello, Windows Search, and broader app and core system performance.
