A free Money Moves pop-up will run from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 28, in Azura Credit Union’s parking lot at 610 SW 10th in Topeka.
City officials said the event grew out of residents’ requests for financial information and was designed to make budgeting, saving, credit and planning advice easier to access without embarrassment.
Azura will offer a casual outdoor format where people can talk directly with financial experts, ask questions or pick up materials, with attendees encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
The partnership reflects Topeka’s broader push through its Office of Inclusive Communities to deliver practical services in more approachable community settings.
As Kansas lacks community development banks, can one pop-up event tackle systemic financial barriers for families?
With Kansas business confidence plummeting, can a 30-minute workshop shield residents from economic uncertainty?
