LDS Church Sets 19.2-Acre Site for 82,000-Square-Foot Caldwell Idaho Temple

A 19.2-acre parcel at W. Orchard Avenue and S. Florida Avenue in Canyon County will host the new Caldwell Idaho Temple, the LDS Church said.
Plans call for an 82,000-square-foot multistory temple, plus a meetinghouse and an ancillary building, giving many local members a closer place to worship and serve.
President Russell M. Nelson announced the Caldwell temple in April 2025 as one of 15 new temples unveiled at that time.
Idaho already has 10 other LDS temples announced, operating or under construction, and the state has more than 480,000 Latter-day Saints in about 1,300 congregations.
