Lotus has unveiled the Emira 420 Sport, a sharper four-cylinder version that lifts output to 414 hp and cuts the 0-62 mph time to 3.9 seconds.
186 mph makes it the fastest four-cylinder production Emira yet, with torque rising to 369 lb-ft and aero revisions adding 25 kg of downforce without extra drag.
£105,900 in the UK and $122,900 in the US position the car above the Emira Turbo SE, while still undercutting a base Porsche 911 Carrera in America.
An optional Lightweight Handling Pack sheds 25 kg with Multimatic dampers, Cup 2 tires, a titanium exhaust and lithium-ion battery, and a removable roof panel debuts before rolling out across the Emira range.
The launch extends Lotus's push to make the Emira more focused ahead of a planned new Esprit in 2028 and a future switch away from current Toyota and AMG engines.
