Digital Chat Station says Vivo’s X500 Pro engineering prototype pairs a next-generation 2nm Dimensity 9600-series chip with a 50MP main camera and 64MP periscope telephoto.
The camera setup is tipped to include a 1/1.28-inch LOFIC primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and roughly 3x optical zoom on the periscope, reportedly using Sony’s new IMX06H sensor.
That leak points to a more compact flagship design, with the X500 Pro expected to be one of only two smaller “Pro” phones later this year and to forgo the 200MP periscope likely reserved for the Pro Max.
Other reports say the phone will use a 6.37-inch 1.5K flat LTPO OLED display, a 7,000mAh-plus battery, and OriginOS 7 based on Android 17.
The X500 series is expected to launch in China in September, with a global debut tipped for November or December.
