Registration has opened for IBM Quantum’s free Qiskit Global Summer School 2026, a fully online program running July 13-24 for students, researchers, developers and workforce entrants.
The two-week course centers on practical quantum-computing skills through recorded lectures, interactive Qiskit labs, live Q&As with IBM experts and a Discord community, with content spanning foundational concepts to advanced applications.
New features include a beginners-only track, optional professional-development workshops and revised certificate rules requiring participants to watch 80% of core IBM Quantum lectures; advanced-track learners must also complete labs.
The 2026 edition marks a decade since IBM first put a quantum computer on the cloud, framing the program around today’s high-performance systems and real-world quantum workflows.
IBM said places often fill in less than a week, underscoring demand for one of the program’s annual global training events, now in its seventh year.
