Dana Weinger of Huger was identified by the Clarendon County Coroner's Office as the woman killed during Saturday evening's patio accident at a Summerton restaurant.
A sudden strong wind blew a table umbrella loose while Weinger and her husband were dining outside, and it struck her in the head and neck area.
Clarendon EMS and fire crews were dispatched around 7:40 p.m. to 5321 Dingle Pond Road, where they found Weinger unresponsive and pronounced her dead at the scene.
The death occurred during severe storm conditions near Lake Marion, in an incident that earlier reports said happened at Driftwood Grill and left the local community and responders shaken.
