Amazfit Launches 0-100 HybridCharge Score, Replacing BioCharge in Zepp App

HybridCharge has gone live in the Zepp app as Amazfit’s new daily energy score, replacing BioCharge and Readiness with Wake, All-Day and Evening ratings on a 0-100 scale.
Sleep quality, HRV, resting heart rate and activity still form the base score, but Amazfit now lets users directly adjust it with LifeLoad self-reports across 8 categories and workout RPE.
That design sets HybridCharge apart from Garmin Body Battery and Whoop Recovery, whose logging tools show correlations later but do not change the score itself in real time.
Amazfit says the model calibrates to personal patterns over 7 days, while some watches may still show the BioCharge label until firmware updates catch up.
The feature’s promise is broader fatigue tracking—including mental strain and strength-training load—but its usefulness may hinge on consistent user input and a methodology Amazfit has not disclosed.

As wearables demand more personal data, where is the line between helpful insight and intrusive daily logging?
