Jonathan Andic Denies 2024 Murder Claim, Quits Mango Vice Chair Over €1 Million Bail Case

Jonathan Andic, 45, called the murder accusation over his father Isak Andic’s December 2024 death “serious, unjust and unfounded” in his first public statement, an open letter to Mango staff.
The letter said he was stepping down as Mango’s vice president to focus fully on his legal defense and to avoid harming the company.
Prosecutors reopened the case in October 2025 after investigators had initially treated the 71-year-old founder’s fatal fall in the Montserrat mountains near Barcelona as accidental.
Spanish authorities arrested Andic last week and released him after he posted €1 million, or about $1.2 million, in bail.
The case has intensified scrutiny on the family behind Mango, whose holding company named Jonathan Andic executive vice president in January 2025, about six weeks after his father’s death.
