Google’s latest app beta includes a new Videos tab that can be manually enabled, though it currently opens to a blank page and is not live for users.
The tab is expected to recommend videos based on users’ interests, likes and recent search history, extending the app’s existing personalized home feed and Images tab.
Screenshots show the feature beside the Home tab, and it may mirror the Images tab with a search bar, suggested search chips and a collections button.
Google could surface YouTube clips as well as videos from other platforms, reflecting how Search already pulls short-form content from Instagram, Facebook and other sources.
No rollout timing is known, and the feature comes from an APK teardown, meaning Google may still change it or never release it publicly.
