Quantus Insights found Burt Jones at 46.4% and Rick Jackson at 44.1% in Georgia's Republican governor runoff, with 9.5% of voters still undecided.
More than 700 Georgia Republican primary voters were surveyed a day after Tuesday's primary, which forced a runoff because no candidate cleared the 50% threshold.
Jones finished first in the primary with 38.35%, followed by Jackson at 32.52%, while Brad Raffensperger took 15% and Chris Carr 11.86%.
June 16 is the runoff date, with early voting set to begin no later than June 8-12.
On the Democratic side, Keisha Lance Bottoms secured her party's nomination with 56.22%, setting up the general-election field once Republicans choose their nominee.
