Bell has begun offering some Pure Fibre subscribers free upgrades to 3 Gbps download and upload speeds, according to customer notifications seen in MyBell accounts and emails.
The carrier framed the move as a loyalty reward for existing customers and said the higher speed comes at no extra charge.
Bell also warned the complimentary upgrade can disappear if a customer later changes their current internet plan.
