Dodge is developing a new halo sports car called the Copperhead, a combustion-powered coupe that appears likely to share its underpinnings with the Charger.
Car and Driver described the early model as long, low and sleek, with an S-duct hood, multiple cooling vents, a large rear wing and visible exhaust tips pointing to an internal-combustion setup.
Stellantis has not disclosed powertrain details, but the Copperhead is expected to get at least one V-8 option and an SRT version as Dodge leans back into its performance lineup.
The project sits inside Stellantis' broader product push of more than 100 new or refreshed vehicles, with the Copperhead reviving a Dodge name last used nearly 30 years ago on a concept below the Viper.

As a regional brand, can Dodge's V-8 strategy succeed long-term under Stellantis's global electrification plan?
