Spencer Pratt said Monday on X that Drew Carey is mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein files, escalating a public feud after Carey attacked his Los Angeles mayoral bid.
Carey had written on Threads that voters should not back a “serial scammer without a soul or moral compass,” calling Pratt incompetent and adding, “Fuck this guy already.”
A search of the Epstein files cited in the report turns up a 2002 email in which Jeff Davis told Ghislaine Maxwell he had allegedly had dinner with Carey; Carey’s representatives did not immediately comment.
Pratt, a former reality TV star who launched his campaign about a year after losing his home in the 2025 Pacific Palisades fire, says he is running on crisis leadership, emergency readiness and homelessness.
His candidacy has drawn Republican support including from President Donald Trump, and he has raised more than 10 times as much as incumbent Karen Bass, even as his sister Stephanie Pratt has called him unqualified.

As the Epstein files become public fodder, what does a mere mention mean for a person's reputation and career?
