Spencer Pratt escalated his Los Angeles mayoral feud by posting that Drew Carey and Chelsea Handler were both in the “Epstein files,” days after Carey attacked his candidacy online.
Monday’s post cited a screenshot of an alleged 2002 email naming Carey and a clip of Shane Gillis joking about Handler having dinner with Jeffrey Epstein in 2010.
Carey had urged voters Friday to reject Pratt before the June 2 primary, calling him a “serial scammer without a soul or moral compass” in a Threads post.
Pratt launched his campaign in January after losing his home in the 2025 Palisades wildfire, blaming Mayor Karen Bass and city management of the fires while also joining a lawsuit over water system decisions.
The race is officially nonpartisan despite scrutiny of Pratt’s Republican registration and praise from Donald Trump; if no candidate wins 50%, the top two advance to November.
Is Spencer Pratt's outsider campaign a real threat or just a strategic pawn in the LA mayoral election?
Beyond viral fame, do Pratt's policies offer a real solution for LA's crisis of homelessness and disaster readiness?
