Alienware Cuts Area-51 16-Inch Gaming Laptop by Up to $1,500 for Memorial Day

$1,500 discounts have hit Alienware’s 16-inch Area-51, cutting the RTX 5080 configuration to $3,399 from $4,899 in a Memorial Day sale.
Other models are also marked down, including a version with Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, 32GB of RAM and an RTX 5070 Ti that is $650 off.
The laptop launched earlier this year and targets high-end gamers with upgraded Intel chips, a new OLED display and a CherryMX keyboard.
Dell is also pitching cooling as a key selling point, citing 32% larger fans and up to 35% more airflow through its Cryo-Chamber design.
