Season 2 is set to shift focus to Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis, moving away from Season 1’s Hannah-Garrett-Justin triangle after the first eight episodes positioned them as the next central couple.
That plan breaks from Elle Kennedy’s book order: instead of adapting Book 2, The Mistake, the series is jumping to Book 3, The Score, bypassing the Grace Ivers-John Logan storyline for now.
Levy said the change was meant to preserve television momentum, giving Hannah and Garrett a happy ending while leaving enough unresolved tension to pull viewers into the next season.
