Terminal B at New York’s LaGuardia has installed Bridget, a life-sized AI hologram near the Food Hall that answers traveler questions on gates, baggage claim, shops and lounges.
Bridget uses Proto hardware and Holomedia’s AI Concierge Wayfinder platform to provide conversational help, live terminal maps and step-by-step directions, including QR codes travelers can carry with them.
English and Spanish are available now, with more languages planned; the kiosk also includes subtitles, high-contrast displays and a wheelchair-accessible interface.
LaGuardia Gateway Partners says the system is meant to support—not replace—guest-experience staff during busy periods, and more units are planned across both concourses.
Miami International rolled out 4 AI holograms about three weeks earlier, underscoring a broader airport push to use AI wayfinding tools while travelers still weigh accuracy, trust and privacy.
