Samsung Unveils 2026 AC Mode That Links Galaxy Watches and Rings to Sleep Cooling

Samsung introduced “WindFree Wearable Good Sleep” for its 2026 Bespoke AI WindFree air conditioners, letting Galaxy Watches and Rings automatically trigger sleep mode when a user falls asleep.
The system uses sleep detection from the wearable to signal the AC, which then adjusts cooling performance through the night to match the user’s sleep pattern instead of relying on a fixed thermostat setting.
Setup requires the SmartThings app on the wearable, a Wi-Fi-connected AC, and activation through Samsung’s watch sleep-device settings or the phone’s sleep routine menu.
The feature extends Samsung’s push to tie Galaxy wearables into home devices, positioning sleep tracking as a control layer for connected appliances rather than just a health metric.
As smart beds cool you directly, can Samsung's room-cooling AC truly compete for the best night's sleep?
With no public proof it works, is Samsung's 'Good Sleep' AC a health breakthrough or just clever marketing?
