Winnipeg police charged a 15-year-old girl with arson causing property damage and possession of incendiary material after a May 21 fire destroyed the Kane County Cougars' charter bus outside Blue Cross Park.
Authorities said the blaze was intentionally set; two teenagers were initially detained, and the girl was later released into the custody of a responsible adult.
The entire 56-seat bus and its contents were destroyed, with Windstar estimating losses at about $425,000, including damaged equipment that will affect its operations.
