A 30-year-old woman died after being shot outside One Four One on West Street in Sheffield city centre at about 02:45 BST on Monday.
Three suspects were arrested in connection with the shooting — a 30-year-old man in Sheffield, plus a 30-year-old man and 32-year-old woman near Stockport.
Police treated the woman at the scene with paramedics before she was taken to hospital, where she later died; her family have been informed, though formal identification is still pending.
West Street and several nearby roads remain closed, and South Yorkshire Police said officers will keep a significant presence in the area in the coming days.
