30-year-old MJF regained the AEW World Championship on Sunday in New York, pinning Darby Allin with an avalanche Tombstone Piledriver to become a three-time champion.
The title shot carried a hair-vs-title stipulation after Allin had taken the belt from MJF more than a month earlier, and MJF survived Allin’s Coffin Drop and Scorpion Death Lock attempts to avoid being shaved bald.
