31-year-old Saif Kaleem of Tannersville was charged after police said he cut pickleball nets at TLC Park and Mountain View Park in Pocono Township earlier this month.
Police said video showed Kaleem cutting a net at TLC Park, then leaving in a white Hyundai Tucson; the same man and vehicle were seen two days later at Mountain View Park.
When confronted, Kaleem allegedly told officers he had recently been injured playing pickleball and cut the nets because the injury had ruined his summer.
The case led to criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and trespassing charges tied to damage at two Pocono Township parks.
