Xiaomi Launches 17 Max and 17 Pro Max From ¥4,299 With 8,000mAh Battery

Xiaomi added two oversized premium phones to its flagship lineup, opening China pre-orders for the 17 Max at ¥4,299 and the 17 Pro Max at ¥5,999.
Both models use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 6.9-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED displays and 100W wired plus 50W wireless charging, with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
The 17 Max is positioned as the value-focused battery flagship, pairing up to 12GB RAM with an 8,000mAh battery that could outlast the Pro Max’s roughly 7,500mAh pack.
The Pro Max targets enthusiasts with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, a Leica-engineered camera system with 5x periscope zoom, premium materials and a secondary rear display for notifications and selfie previews.
That split gives Xiaomi two distinct pitches: longer endurance and lower price for mainstream buyers, or extra camera and design features for users willing to pay more.
