$29.99 System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster became available on Nintendo Switch 2 on May 25, expanding Nightdive Studios' updated release to Nintendo's new console.
The Switch 2 edition carries the remaster's core upgrades, including high-resolution character and weapon models, improved animations, controller optimization, quality-of-life changes and cross-play co-op multiplayer.
The game keeps the 1999 sci-fi horror setup: players wake aboard the FTL ship Von Braun in 2114, fight mutants and robots, and confront rogue AI SHODAN.
The launch follows the game's earlier release on the original Switch, while the first System Shock is also already available on both Switch and Switch 2.
