A new Temple Square app has been available on Apple and Android since mid-April, giving visitors tools to navigate the five-block Salt Lake City site and manage reservations.
The app centers on three sections—Explore, My Visit and Map—letting users browse events, tours, exhibits and landmarks, build itineraries, and access existing tickets for attractions including “Music & the Spoken Word.”
An interactive 3D-style map offers directions across the renovated square, location search, category filters and an “Avoid Stairs” option aimed at accessibility.
AI support appears across all three sections, answering FAQs and helping users find destinations, while optional sign-in lets visitors save plans; most features work without an account.
The launch is meant to help millions navigate Temple Square as the landmark emerges from nearly 6½ years of major renovations, with more language options planned beyond English.
