HP’s new 14-inch ZBook 8 G2a starts at $2,796 in the US and scales to a Ryzen AI 9 HX Pro 470 configuration with Radeon 890M graphics.
The workstation supports up to 64GB DDR5-5600 memory and a 2TB PCIe Gen5 NVMe SSD, targeting heavier professional workloads and larger datasets.
Display options range from a 1,920x1,200 60Hz panel to a 2,560x1,600 120Hz VRR screen at 500 nits, with 800-nit Sure View privacy and touchscreen variants also offered.
At 3.21 pounds and 0.75 inches thick, it adds a 68Whr battery with 50% charge in 30 minutes, plus Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45, Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G.
Regional availability still varies: the UK currently lists only the entry model without customization, while top-end US builds can exceed $7,800.
