ZDNET’s side-by-side test found the Pixel 10 Pro delivered the best 100x zoom results overall, beating Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra and Motorola’s Razr Fold across multiple long-range shots.
At roughly 250 feet and 450 feet, the Pixel produced the cleanest images of a statue and a clock face, while the Razr Fold was usually second and the Galaxy S26 Ultra looked blurriest.
Motorola briefly edged the Pixel in one 325-foot stuffed-animal shot by preserving more texture, but the reviewer said both still far outperformed Samsung.
Night shooting was the main exception: Samsung and Motorola handled moon shots better than the Pixel, though the Razr still appeared slightly sharper than Samsung.
The review concludes Samsung’s once-signature 100x zoom is slipping behind rivals, with Motorola’s showing especially notable progress for a foldable phone.
