Dončić secured his sixth All-NBA First Team selection after averaging a league-best 33.5 points, plus 7.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.6 steals in 64 games for the Lakers.
At age 27, he joined LeBron James, Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson and Bob Pettit as the only players in NBA history to reach at least six first-team honors that young.
The honor offered a bright spot after Dončić's left hamstring injury on April 2 ended his postseason; Los Angeles finished 53-29, beat Houston, then was swept by Oklahoma City in the West semifinals.
His expected return for 2026-27 comes as the Lakers also await James' July decision on a possible 24th season, with the 41-year-old free agent reportedly prioritizing a title contender.
