T-Mobile has been moving some customers off legacy wireless plans without notice, leaving them with sharply higher monthly bills that in some cases rose as much as 60%.
One five-line account jumped to $228 from $135 on its May bill after an April switch to a different legacy rate plan, with base charges, line-add fees and data rates all increasing.
The changes appear to have started in March and seem focused on older offerings, though users fear Simple Choice and Select Choice plans could also be affected.
