Daigo Kazama surfaced in an unverified Tekken 8 leak as the final Season 3 DLC fighter, with the name reportedly datamined from a Combo Breaker test build and shared by creator Moonsault Slayer.
The leaked entry appeared as “風間大悟” with the tagline “The Forgotten Kazama Has Returned,” fueling speculation that the character could be a new Kazama-family addition or a crossover nod.
That crossover theory gained traction because Capcom’s Rival Schools already has a Daigo Kazama, and Bandai Namco previously brought Street Fighter’s Akuma into Tekken 7.
Bandai Namco has not confirmed the rumor, but the timing is notable: the publisher already said Season 3’s last fighter will be revealed at Combo Breaker 2026 before the Tekken 8 Top 8 Finals.
Season 3 already includes Kunimitsu on May 27, Bob in summer and Roger Jr. in autumn, alongside more than 1,500 gameplay and balance changes.
