Wyndham Clark closed with an 11-under 60 to win the CJ Cup Byron Nelson at 30-under, beating Si Woo Kim by three shots for his first PGA Tour title since February 2024.
The 32-year-old started Sunday two back of Kim but surged past him at TPC Craig Ranch; Kim still shot 65, yet could not match Clark’s near-historic pace.
Clark nearly holed his approach on the 72nd hole for eagle and a 59, a score that would have made him the 16th player to break 60 in PGA Tour history.
The victory marks a sharp turnaround after Clark missed the cut at this month’s PGA Championship and follows a 2025 season in which he managed only two top-10 finishes in 24 starts.
The win revives momentum for the 2023 U.S. Open champion ahead of the next major test, the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills starting June 18.
Is Wyndham Clark’s dominant victory a true career resurgence or a brief flash before major championship pressure returns?
With new conduct rules looming, is Clark's comeback a timely model for managing on-course pressure and professionalism?
