  • More than 20 additional SKS Copack products—including boba and coffee mixes—were pulled after the FDA expanded a recall tied to possible Salmonella contamination.
  • The newly affected items were made with powdered milk linked to California Dairies' April recall of bulk powdered milk and buttermilk sold to other manufacturers.
  • Angel Specialty Products accounts for most of the recalled items, while Boba Time, Denda, Fanale and Royal Gold also had products affected; the mixes were sold through cafes, restaurants and online in 25 states.
  • Federal officials are still tracing downstream foods made with the recalled milk, while USDA is separately listing affected products that contain meat, poultry or eggs.
  • No illnesses have been reported, but Salmonella can cause fever, diarrhea and abdominal pain within six hours to six days of exposure.
