Tens of thousands at Sunderland's Herrington Country Park watched Zara Larsson headline BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend with a high-energy set built around tracks from her new album Midnight Sun.
Kayleigh — a superfan who said she had attended three U.S. shows — joined Larsson on stage for the viral Lush Life dance after receiving a custom T-shirt, extending a regular tradition from the singer's world tour.
The performance was Larsson's fourth Big Weekend appearance but her first time headlining a major European festival, according to BBC Radio 1, as Lush Life enjoys a chart revival and recently peaked at No. 3.
Saturday's lineup also featured Lola Young's first festival set since collapsing on stage last September, plus appearances from James Blake, Mitski, Ellie Goulding and Louis Tomlinson.
