Fortnite was relisted on the iOS App Store in markets worldwide this week, but remained unavailable in Australia pending a court ruling.
Epic said the return came after Apple told the US Supreme Court that regulators globally are watching the case to gauge what commission rates Apple can charge on covered purchases.
That filing sharpened the dispute beyond the US, with Epic arguing that once Apple discloses its costs, governments will resist what it calls "Apple junk fees."
