Cannes Jury to Name 2026 Palme d’Or Winner From 22 Films as Streisand Gets Honorary Palme

Park Chan-wook’s jury will unveil the 79th Cannes winners on May 23, selecting the Palme d’Or and six other main prizes from 22 competition films.
Tilda Swinton is set to present the Palme d’Or, while Geena Davis, Xavier Dolan, Gael García Bernal, Nadine Labaki, Pierfrancesco Favino and Zoe Saldaña will hand out the other awards.
Barbra Streisand will receive an Honorary Palme d’Or during the closing ceremony, but she cannot attend Cannes; Isabelle Huppert will accept on her behalf and deliver a tribute.
Eye Haïdara hosts the ceremony, which also includes the Short Film Palme d’Or and Caméra d’Or presentations and will be streamed live internationally in English and French.
