Fable Reboot Lands Adult Ratings in 2 Countries as Fall 2026 Launch Looks Intact

South Korea and Australia have officially rated Playground's Fable reboot for adults only, a step that often comes months before release and points to a Fall 2026 launch.
South Korea's 19+ notice cites explicit sexual language, frequent killing, bloodshed, bodily mutilation, criminal acts tied to player choice, and heavy profanity.
That timing suggests a late-September or October window, based on recent Korean ratings for Death Stranding 2 and Metroid Prime 4 that preceded launch by several months.
A release before November 19 would also give Microsoft room to avoid Grand Theft Auto VI, after speculation Fable could slip to 2027 if it missed that gap.
The reboot remains important for Xbox's 2026 lineup and is set to launch day one on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S and X.
